Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers a mix of rustic luxury in well-furnished rooms with some minor issues. The service goes above and beyond, especially for special occasions like honeymoons. The location is peaceful with stunning views, while dining options are a hit or miss. Facilities cater to diverse needs.
My stay at 98 Acres was absolutely incredible. The rooms could use a bit of improvement in design, but overall, it was a remarkable experience with breathtaking views of nature that truly brought peace to my soul. The comfort and the attentive butler service made the stay fabulous. However, the dining experience was average, and the coffee was not up to par.
Staying at the hotel was a dream come true! The gorgeous room with windows on three sides offered breathtaking views of Little Adam's Peak and Ella Rock directly from the bed. The design, materials, colors, and eco-friendly approach were fantastic. The comfortable bed with a mosquito net and a big balcony overlooking Little Adam's Peak made the stay even more memorable. However, there were occasional odd experiences with the friendly service. The peaceful location, although a bit further out of town, was perfect for exploring Little Adam's Peak and the Nine Arch bridges directly from the accommodation.
This hotel blew me away with its fabulous views, comfort, and personalized service. The mist covered cascading hills outside my room were mesmerizing, and the rustic furniture added a charming touch in line with the tea plantation setting. While the butler attended to my every need, the chilly weather was a minor drawback, but overall, it was an unforgettable stay.
My two-night stay in a premium deluxe room at 98 Acres was supported by the nicest and most attentive staff I have ever come across. The rooms were a good size with nice bathrooms, making it a perfect choice for our honeymoon. However, the pricing could be on the higher side for some. The service, starting from the reception and continuing until we checked out, was exceptional with special attention to my dietary requirements. The location of the hotel overlooking Little Adam's Peak was absolutely breathtaking, and the proximity to the hiking track leading to 360° mesmerizing views made it truly unforgettable. The dining experience during lunch was extensive and satisfying after a tiring night, but the local meat options might not suit everyone. The facilities at the hotel were top-notch, offering a luxurious experience overall.
The hotel is situated in Ella, Sri Lanka, on a hillside above the town, offering a peaceful location with spectacular views of mountains and valleys. The rooms have a rustic yet luxurious feel, featuring a balcony with stunning views. However, the leaking shower screen was a downside, causing wet towels on the floor. The service was exceptional, with friendly staff providing great assistance at every step. The location is ideal for nature lovers, being at 1000 meters above sea level in the Central Highlands, close to popular sightseeing spots like Little Adam's Peak and the Nine Arch Bridge. The dining options were varied, with delicious Western and Sri Lankan dishes, though some food items were subpar. Overall, the facilities were in good condition, contributing to a comfortable stay.
